Between Heaven and Hell

Okay, I'm going to explain it properly this time since last time it kinda flopped.

SO I've decided to change it up a little bit to make it a bit spicier, y'know? So the current premise is essentially that there are Supernatural beings in the world. Vampires, werewolves, angels, demons, things that most people haven't even heard of. The only thing standing between the human race and these beings are Hunters; humans who hunt down and kill beings that pose a danger to humans. Of course, some beings just go about their lives. For example, Lucifer, the actual Lord of Hell, who spends his time unofficially consulting for the LAPD. Theres probably going to end up being a long list of characters from both Supernatural and Lucifer that I might throw in for kicks since they're the two main inspirations for this. Maybe I'll post that on another board, we'll see. For now, all we need to know is that the actual Devil works for the LA police and that theres a lot more things scarier than him lurking in the dark.
There are no rules for this. You wanna be a hunter? Go for it. You wanna be some scary monster? You go get em. You wanna be some biblical figure? Hell yeah you can be. Basically just do whatever.

Name: Lauren Parker (usually goes by Laurie)
Age: 20
Gender: Female
Rank: Junior Officer (basically she's a newbie)
Appearance: Short, messy, dark red hair, mismatched blue and brown eyes and an incredible face full of freckles. Wears a collared shirt underneath a sweater, with dark jeans and boots usually.
Personality: Active, eager and enjoys being around people. Can be a little reckless and tends to get herself into trouble. A total social butterfly and very good with kids. Doesn't so much enjoy the gruesome parts of her work, mainly focuses on helping people. Very clever and knowledgable, but on a very wide range of very specific topics.
Lead Officer: Daniel Espinoza
Other: Can sense supernatural presences. People tend to brush it off as her hyperactive mind. Will actively avoid people like Lucifer where she can.

Appearance: Long dirty blond hair with neon green streaks, dark brown eyes. Wears a dark green tank top with a black denim jacket, jeans and black boots. Carries around throwing knifes with a longer dagger on her belt.
Personality: Short tempered but nice if you get to know her. Doesn't know much about stuff apart from demons and killing things.
Other: She has heightened senses, helps a lot with the demon hunting

Appearance: Long light brunette coloured hair (normally out) with dark brown eyes. She wears a baggy-ish yellow shirt that is tucked into her denim shorts. Ezra, also, wears knee-high, pink and white striped, socks with white shoes (a bit dirty).
Personality: Almost always seems happy but is naive. She does relatively well on her grades but is still quite clueless about things going around her.
Power (replaced officer): She can create portals that teleport her wherever. She has no control over the power, however, when she's extremely stressed she automatically creates a portal to a random area (that she's familiar with). As I said before, Ezra's quite clueless, so she will just think she daydreamt that and carries on with her day.
